ICS CANADA DAY PICNIC 2010
Under the sunniest of skies a sizeable crowd -- regular and new attenders ranging from a three-weeks-old to grandparents and every age group in between -- enjoyed ICS's Canada Day Picnic 2010 in Malahide Castle's Walled Garden. The Garden, with exotic plants from around, the world was in full glory; there were donuts and muffins galore compliments of Tim Hortons; face painting was done by ICS member Yvonne Cutting, and highlighting the games were an old-fashioned youngster-adult three-legged race and a classic egg-toss. There were games and draw prizes aplenty, too, thanks to generous donations by Tim Hortons, the Embassy, the Ireland Canada Business Association, ICS member Dot Powers and, of course, ICS itself. Festivities drew to a close with an East vs West (Ontario/Manitoba border) soccer match.
